Everyone living in the UAE is required to have a residence visa. It is a company’s responsibility to supply a visa, Emirates ID card and health insurance to all of its staff members. In order to be able to visa employees, the company must be registered with the appropriate authorities – Immigration and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE) – and Gateway can arrange this, if required.
For visa processing, Gateway can manage the process from arranging the initial quota approval through to getting the visa stamped into the employee’s passport. Our organised approach is to make the process as straight forward as possible.
We will clarify the document requirements, the position details at the start of the process. We will accompany all employees to the medical screening and to supply their Biometics for their Emirates ID card as we know that this process can be daunting, especially the first time.
As part of the visa process, it is mandatory to arrange health insurance via an Abu dhabi-registered insurance provider. We can connect you with insurance brokers or you can arrange this directly. The cost for insurance will depend upon the level of cover required and any pre-existing conditions.
Once the visa has been stamped and the Emirates ID card has been supplied, we’ll even keep a note of the expiries and notify you beforehand to ensure that all of your employees stay compliant.
